El presidente municipal de Tonalá, Sergio Chávez manifestó que está en tiempo y forma para registrar su precandidatura por parte de Morena a la alcaldía de Tonalá.

Agregó que sabe que hay interés de otras personas por ocupar el puesto y también de generar alianza con otros partidos.

Sin embargo, dijo que respetará la decisión que tome su partido y los aliados para su destino político y los métodos que elijan.

Puntualizó que la fecha límite para definir a los candidatos locales es el 3 de enero, pero probablemente Morena defina los propios para el mes de diciembre.
