La Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos aprobó este jueves un histórico proyecto de ley que protege el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo.

Es una medida de precaución destinada a evitar que la corte suprema, liderada por los conservadores, anule ese derecho a nivel nacional, como lo hizo con el aborto.

  • El proyecto de ley, que fue aprobado por el senado la semana pasada, deberá ahora ser promulgado por el presidente Joe Biden.
