COINFECCIÓN POR DENGUE EN JALISCO: REPORTAN DOS SEROTIPOS SIMULTÁNEOS

La Secretaría de Salud Jalisco (SSJ) ha confirmado cinco casos de coinfección por dengue en pacientes de Guadalajara, El Salto y Tlaquepaque, donde se detectaron dos serotipos del virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 y DENV-4) al mismo tiempo. Los pacientes presentan síntomas no graves y no se han registrado defunciones.

Hasta la semana 44 de 2024 Jalisco ha acumulado 14 mil 732 casos confirmados de dengue con mil 600 nuevos reportados recientemente. La SSJ destaca la importancia de eliminar criaderos de mosquitos y advierte a la población sobre la necesidad de buscar atención médica ante síntomas sospechosos.
