AMPLIARÁN REGISTROS PARA CERTIFICACIONES DE AGAVE RESPONSABLE SOCIAL EN JALISCO

Como parte de los trabajos de las mesas técnicas del agave, Secretaría de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural de Jalisco (SADER) solicitó formalmente este día a la Cámara Nacional de la Industria Tequilera (CNIT) elevar de 50 a mil a 100 mil el máximo de plantas de agave que deberán tener en el registro los productores tradicionales, para poder vender directamente a la industria tequilera y obtener la certificación de Agave Responsable Social.

Esta acción busca respaldar a un mayor número de productores e impulsar la cadena agave – tequila y la denominación de origen de este destilado en todo el mundo.

El titular de la SADER, Eduardo Ron Ramos, apuntó que se seguirá trabajando en las mesas técnicas para que las acciones tengan impacto a corto, largo y mediano plazo, y esta siga siendo una actividad rentable para los agaveros jaliscienses.
